Aaron is a bass guitarist, double bassist, guitarist, singer, pianist, and ukulelist in New York City and Long Island. Aaron has been studying, writing, and performing music for over 20 years. In 2021 Aaron received a nomination for a San Diego Music Award for his double bass and bass guitar playing on “Invisible Time” by The Ghost Jazz Trio. In May 2012 he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Pennsylvania State University, where he studied double bass with Professor Robert Nairn, a former Juilliard Professor and President of the International Society of Bassists. In addition to advanced study of classical and jazz, he has toured both the east and west coasts several times with rock and folk rock bands. He also spent years playing monthly residencies with pop, rock, funk, and jazz bands at music clubs, restaurants, and casinos. He has recorded on a wide range of projects, including albums produced by Ron Blair from Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Pete Steinkopf from The Bouncing Souls, and Ezra Kire from Morning Glory and Choking Victim. Since 2007, he has taught hundreds of students in both private lessons and school classes.
